ABOUT MAR BEAUTY

MAR BEAUTY was founded in 2022 by Mariam Dawood — a first-generation Canadian with proud Assyrian roots and a deep passion for both business and beauty. As an undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce student specializing in Business Technology Management, Mariam combined her creative flair with her academic foundation to build a brand that reflects empowerment, inclusivity, and individuality.

From a young age, Mariam was drawn to the beauty industry. What began as a personal passion evolved into a purpose: to create a brand where women of all backgrounds could feel seen, celebrated, and confident. That’s why MAR BEAUTY was born — to offer versatile, universally flattering products that eliminate the question, “Will this look good on me?”

At MAR BEAUTY, the goal is simple: to design with intention and deliver products that offer a “one size fits all” experience — where beauty knows no boundaries of race and skin tone. Every product is thoughtfully created to ensure that all women can feel confident and radiant in their own skin.

This is just the beginning. I plan to keep expanding MAR BEAUTY — and one day, I’d love to see women rocking full faces of makeup using nothing but MAR BEAUTY. Whether it’s your go-to lip, your everyday base, or a bold statement look, I want you to feel the best version of yourself in every product you use.
